I wonder if our candidates who AU is also interested in are gonna give us the hold sign until Auburn makes a hire.

I really think that the way the big money guys meddle in the Auburn football program will cause some candidates to reconsider whether they really want to be in that situation. Might work to our advantage.

Croom had 4 out of 5 losing seasons. Tubs had one and they forced him out.

But I think that is wishful thinking. I'm pretty sure the Auburn job is way more attractive.

that Washington will hurry up and make a hire too. They have had what over month now since they said Willingham was not coming back? I understand you may have to wait Conf. championships to be played but they have had it seems like forever. I know alot us of dream of Petersen and Whittingham but with the Wahington job filled and the Oregon job now filled. There really are no other BCS jobs on the West Coast that these guys could go after. If washington job is filled soon and excluding the Auburn job, the only other two BCS schools left would be us and Sryacuse.
