So in the next two years, possibly three, when we finally give up on the Lebby experiment and Lane fails to win a National Championship for the Tigers and gets booted out of Baton Rouge....

Are we hiring him?

At least calling Sexton?

Again. It is the biggest college football news of the last 3 days, probably the most bonkers coaching move in the history of the sport, and it involved our rival. I think multiple discussions are warranted.

All that to say if he averages 10 wins over 5 seasons, and has us playing in the playoff, to quote Garth, I could have missed the pain, but I’d have to miss thuyaa Dance.

We are probably calling Sexton because he is the agent for 90% of the decent college football coaches!

The window at LSU for him to deliver a National Championship is within three years. He will need to have them in the playoffs by next year -- which he sure as hell should be able to do at LSU.

But if he doesn't do those things in that amount of time, I think his flame out will be spectacular.

He will be damaged goods and we might be able to get him for a song --- 7 or 8 million tops.
