at least the cal teams that didnt win games were entertaining and had talent
because at least we are putting the better players out thereHow is losing games with more talent somehow more acceptable than losing games with less talent? It’s actually less acceptable, unless you’re an agenda driven troll. And the entertainment thing is dumb as well. I’ve never been entertained in a loss.
THIS IS WHAT IM SAYINYeah
Hate him of course but at least he got us talent. Rather see future 1st rounders lose close games than paying 4 million for some 4th team SEC defensive dude that cant walk and chew bubble gum.
Cal’s teams got embarrassed by teams like St Peter’s and Oakland. He was never going to win another title here.at least the cal teams that didnt win games were entertaining and had talent

Yes he did.
Cal had a losing record. Pope doesn’t
I’ll be honest, I would’ve been much more excited about last year’s Sweet 16 if we didn’t get blowed out by Tennessee, a team we beat twice before. After that I felt like last season was a wash and hoped that it would be better this year. So far it hasn’t.I will say the S16 last year felt like a major exceeding of expectations for Pope's first year. When Cals first squad lost in the E8 it felt like a major letdown. I just want to feel like we have one of the best teams in the country and have a serious shot at a championship. That feeling is long gone now with Pope this year.
