Do we need to be pulling for Ole Miss now?

Since those are our only quality wins do we have to pull for them? Or will only one team from the west make it so we need them to be out of the picture?

and beat either Kentucky or Tennessee. Both at home. Then it won't matter in the least what Ole Miss does.

its the ultimate irony, their remaining schedule sets up better to win the west and ours sets up better to actually get in the tournament.

We need both of those teams to have a better rpi. Why wouldn't we root for ole miss? They aren't our real rival.

Ifwe lose to Kentucky and beat Tennessee, Ole Miss being in the top 50 or not will determine whether we have a winning record against the top 50 or a losing record, assuming everyone else stays in the range they're currently in.

In this scenario we'd have wins over UT and ODU and losses against Kentucky, Vandy, and Richmond. It would help if Ole Miss stayed in the first group.
