Comparing our defense to Missouri, Auburn, and South Carolina (league leaders in sack & TFL, and all ranked in the top 15). There are some obvious differences, such as Missouri & Auburn play more snaps each game and we have had the easiest SOS to date. But the overall averages (total yards & points) are suprising similar.
Would more aggression really change anything? I think more than anything our poor tackling has led to the higher rush yard / carry. A better job of tackling and that probably comes down 10-20 yards per game (more in line with Auburn & South Carolina).
