Do we want to be a 2 seed at Louisiana Lafayette?

I know nothing about ULaLa other than they will likely host and are ranked pretty high. Are they a mirage from playing in a weak conference or are they actually pretty good?

Might be our best chance to get to the CWS. I'm sure they're good, but if they're a national seed, they'll be by far the weakest national seed. Win that and we'd go on the road to a non-national seed for the super.

i see them as a good, but not great sec team. they largely benefit from a weaker conference, but they can play.

Agree. Our best chance of getting to Omaha is probably to have Mitchell vs a weaker national seed in the winner's bracket regional game. Brings a better chance at hosting a super vs a 2/3/4. A non-seed regional won't be much easier to navigate and we don't have much hope taking 2/3 on the road from a Top 8 team.
