At a certain point sitting down becomes simpler because you can’t always be sure that #2 isn’t going to come while you’re at it.

Yes, I normally would if alone. And yes, I have squirted off a quick pressure reliever on occasion while she has shampoo in her eyes or is shaving her legs and looking the other way. Honestly, I could whiz allover her back and unless I was dehydrated, she'd likely never even know...
I raised 2 girls who had no concept of privacy as toddlers. I started sitting to pee to avoid the conversations.
I got put on blood thinners and blood pressure meds and almost went thru the shower glass one night at 2am b/c I was light-headed, so I re-adopted the habit.
-sitting down at night is best because you don't have to turn on the lights.
I always play a nightly practical joke on my wife. I pee on the seat so she sits in it.
When she comes back to bed. I laugh like Nelson from the Simpsons

You ever pee with your eyes closed because ut feels so damn good? And then you quit hearing the splash, but you're still peeing? Can you stop peeing in midstream? The problem peeing sitting down is your junk dangles in the water, and thats not only cold, it's nasty. Except this one restaurant i found has heated toilet water.... ahhhh... now THAT is relaxing!
Why wouldn’t you just get out the car? Hell I’ve taken numerous dumps outside even in city limits as long as it’s dark. Key is to have spots predetermined on each side of town where you can drop a load real quick without being seen.
Normally you would but I had a close call KSP Trooper came up behind me with my truck door open and I didn't see him. This was on the WK Parkway the day Cal was hired oddly enough. I tried to play it off as I heard a noise and was checking to make sure everything was alright and not leaking underneath. He nodded but could tell he did not believe the story.
Yes, you have to scout out or plan ahead your locations. Gotten more clever since then and even taken some daytime leaks on military bases since that time. Worst thing is having to go and getting stuck in bumper to bumper traffic. A big truck, tinted windows and a bottle fixes that.
I pissed in a cup while driving in BFE. Accidentally dropped the cup and poured pee all over my floor board. My car also had roache living in it too
I normally don't but if the urge hits me while I'm in the shower, I'm not getting out just to do that.

I was sponsoring a brand new Airman once while I was in the USAF. So I go to his dormitory, check to see if everything is alright. Nature's calling hit and I asked if I could use his toilet. He replied, "The toilets broken but you can use the sink" I said I'm good and was out. Wasn't about to piss the St. Louis arch just to go in a damn sink.

Nope. I pee in the sink, poop in the shower & wash up in the toilet. Pooping in the shower is very easy, once you remove that drain grate.

Couple of other reasons depending on the situation. middle of the night, half-asleep, sitting down is better. Also, depending on what (or who) you've done that night no telling which direction it's going to go.
