...is that in a state or area with two or more teams, the media seems to scorn both, according to the fans. The CL hates Ole Miss, the CL hates State. We hear that a lot.
Up here - everyone loves Tennessee, and none more so than the media. It's like living in Stalin's Russia. I've heard Lane Kiffin lauded as a "tactician" and "public relations genius" for getting booed on gameday. The requisite excuse for all of his blunders has been "jealousy" by other schools. I'm sure that will be the path chosen this time.
