Whether Neb is a good team remains to be seen.
IMHO, they're good. Strong QB. And they could become a strong team.

Not impressed by them.IMHO, they're good. Strong QB. And they could become a strong team.
I think we are all so overwhelmed with how much better this team looked, especially the offense, then many expected. And the fact that there was really only one bad explosion play for Nebraska. (That long scramble pass play wasn't bad defense, but just an incredible effort by them).I will preface this post by saying that I tend to look at glasses as half full. I did not attend nor see a replay of the game until I had read all the glowing posts about NU's performance. After watching a replay, I still have some concerns about our defense with regards to pass defense and lack of pressure on the QB. Tackling still remains a problem, I also hope our OL play was as dominant as the posts implied. I guess I am in the wait and see camp
The Neb apologists haven't latched onto this excuse yet. They are having trouble getting past the onside kick. That TE was making all the catches, and who knows, he might've caught that last pass that was an interception instead of having it bounce off the back shoulder. But we might've made some adjustments to stop him too, so one can play that "what if" game all day long. Also, their TE was killing us until he got hurt.
A loss to Akron is never a OK loss! The Akron loss was ultimately OK in my book; the Holiday Bowl trip was great.
Of course, even healthy, that TE can't rush our QB or tackle our RBs.The Neb apologists haven't latched onto this excuse yet. They are having trouble getting past the onside kick. Yes, but they need to trust Hilinski more with the ball at the end of the game

I would set the OU at 6.5 right now, and would take 7-5 if I had to guess a single number. Tough schedule, but we looked like a pretty solid team.I think if we sweep non conference it’s likely (although not a guarantee), but if we drop one it’s going to be tough.
It’s probably toughest Big Ten schedule we have ever had.
This looks right to me, but I do think there's an outside shot at a division run this year as in 2018/2020.I would set the OU at 6.5 right now, and would take 7-5 if I had to guess a single number. Tough schedule, but we looked like a pretty solid team.
