The Dems will not negotiate with the Liar in Chief until the government is open. Period. Don't go on TV again saying you are offering a new deal that is the same thing with the only thing is a bribe on DACA......and it isn't a good bribe to begin with as it is not passable based on what is known.

Shutdown will continue and the namecalling with the fingerpointing from this "leader" will start again within a short amount of time.

Sickening.

Yeah, it’s pretty sad that Dems won’t come to the table and work with the president to get this crisis resolved.

Do you not believe he’d follow through with the 3 year DACA deal? Is there any way you’d support funding for a physical barrier at the border?

To follow up on this

Bru - was there a time when you supposed a barrier (esp under the Obama years) when you supported a barrier.

I have stated many times I support an improved border security plan that includes additional physical barriers. My position is not unusual to what many politicians on the Dem side have also said. But until he opens the government, no deal on anything on increasing funding for any physical barriers. And I also support that position.

DACA needs to be part of comprehensive immigration plan. Yes, I support the Dreamers and they should be given permanent status in my view. But I don't support using people's lives as bargaining chips in legislation.

Fund the barrier and you’ll see the DACA kids given citizenship status...Trump has (in the past) intimated that he’s cool with that, but why should he give that up without getting something in return?

In order to "open" the government they've got to put forth funding legislation that Trump will sign. He's made it clear in order for him to sign it it's got to have wall funding. He's offering a pretty substantial deal and if the Dems reject it out of hand, then they're going to appear even more petty.

Take the deal and open the government.

So one of the individuals that pulls the puppet strings on Trump, Ann Coulter, opposes Trump's proposal. Like I said, DOA. It won't even have GOP support much less the majority of the country.

And you fools still sucking Trump's ***.

The latest NCR poll shows Trunp gaining support amongst Hispanic voters since the shutdown started.

Wish he had canceled her flight home from there.

I wouldnt get ahead of myself looking into crosstabs. Usually when you see something unexpected like that its due to a small sample size. They likely didn't sample enough latinos and some trump supporting ones weighed heavier on the results. Unless more polls start showing those same things its just an anomaly. I'd especially be weary of quoting a poll whos overall topline showed a -15 approval rating and a full 57% of respondants saying they would absolutely vote against Trump.

This is a good observation. Trump is actually on the side of the laws and safety. Pelosi is saying she can't find 50 cents to support attacks on our border. Totally unbelievable.

Permanent full protections for DACA and a path to citizenship. But none of that while the gov is shutdown. Open it and then we can talk.

I personally would never support a physical barrier, but I wouldn’t mind the Dems to do so when receiving compensation. Enough people want it I guess.

For the brain dead Trump *** suckers, Trump manufactured the DACA crisis and the courts have ruled against Trump. They currently have temporary status. Trump offered temporary status. Yea boy, he is a great negotiator and this is a serious attempt to resolve the other manufactured crisis of shutting down the government. Remember, Trump and Trumpers are proud of that fact.
