It's also perfectly reasonable to report on some Big 12 officials or schools who question the wisdom or value of adding these teams. That's simply not trashing. You just want everything said about the Big 12 to be 100% positive, and you don't want see anything that calls into question the probability of conference expansion, which for some reason you see as some sort of Holy Grail.
