The dodgers are making a risky move tonight. Clayton kershaw will start on 3-days rest. I didn't think we could win the series after last nights loss bc I knew we'd see kershaw on 5-days rest wed. I think this move is the only way the braves can win this series. Kershaw threw 124 pitches on Thursday night. I'm not saying the braves beat kershaw, but they have a better chance tonight than they would wed

I'm alil surprised by this but then again, they're at home. They want to win it tonight, they don't want to go back to ATL. Plus, they still got a pretty good #2 in Greinke. All I know is, if Garcia get's in any trouble at all, I'd have Medlen warm and ready to go. Then Minor be ready to go for game 5.

From what I've read on braves message board is that minor would be available out of bullpen tonight but not medlen. If this is true, fredi really is an idiot. I like your idea much better

You hit that nail squarely on the head. No way we beat kershaw at his best...but on short rest, that's a different story. Although a lot of big time postseason performances have come on short rest. I somewhat understand mattingly's thinking; that if it goes to a fifth game anything can happen, BUT I think this puts pressure on the dodgers to win tonite that otherwise would not have been there if kershaw is goin Wednesday. If they had that security of kershaw in game 5 they could play looser tonite and I think be more effective.

All that said, braves prolly beat kershaw tonite then Lose game 5 anyway

The young Braves pitchers have been shell-shocked against this killer dodger lineup. Julio was left in there way too long last night. At least Garcia is a veteran. I believe things would be different if Hudson hadn't broke his ankle and been able to be a part of this playoff rotation. And Fredi can GTH for not including Maholm.

Kershaw drives the final nail tonight, I'm afraid.

I'm seriously considering being a Cardinals fan. I'm freakin sick of watching october meltdown after october meltdown. At least the freakin cardinals can win when it counts.
