4-5 months of mediocre or below average season performance? I ask this because so much is being made out of the RW vs RS threads. Everybody gets to participate in the SEC basketball tourney, where as, only 65 in the NCAA's. The SEC tourney is for those that need help getting in the tourney, and sometimes helps in seeding.
You guys keep having a pissing match about the successes or failures in the SEC tourney, but at the end, it really matters what you do during the season to earn your NCAA bid, and then the noise you make once you are in it. RW was not very good in the SEC tourney, but he was not bad in the Big Dance. RS is just the opposite. Do you care more about conference success or national success, or both? You aren't going to get everything with either coach. I like RW because he surrounded himself with pretty good assistants to offset his weaknesses. He was a hard *** in every aspect of the game, and that approach still works even today.
