Does a win over Arkansas make us a lock to NCAAT?

20 wins...hey, it's still an accomplishment. Now we need to finish strong. I think we'll beat Arkansas at home.

We would be 8-8 and finish 21-10 going into the SEC tourney. If we were a 12 seed before tonight's game then yes we will get in if we beat Upig.

Our first round SECT game will likely be against USCe, UGA, or Aub if we beat Arkansas on Saturday. If we lose to any of them, our rpi takes a big hit, and it looks bad going out to a bad team in the first round of the tourney.

We might still get in if that happened, but it certainly wouldn't be a lock. If we beat Ark and win our first round game, then we'll be a lock.

we just locked it. Coming in we were somewhere around the 6-8 last team in. Even if we lose two straight I doubt 8 teams are able to leapfrog us. It's hard to imagine since we've lost 5 of our last 6 but the NCAA looks at the whole season and we started 13-2 and extended that to 19-5. We were ranked for almost 2/3 of the season. Huge win tonight!!

I think you are right, though... win against Arkansas Saturday and take one in the SECT, we will be in. No question. Probably as a 10-11, but we will be in.

It definitely didn't lock up a bid, Lunardi's bubble most likely looks different than the committee's, and other analysts right now have us in more of a tenuous position than Lunardi.
