Does anybody know what Porter did to Cohen?

I don't

know for certain, but him having roughly three hits in his last 25 ABs or so and 180 BAvg in SEC play may have something to do w it. He did start today, I think. If you wanna be depressed, check his, Norris, Slauter, and Henderson's averages in SEC play.

Dont know but I sure wish Henderson had done the same in 2012....

He had no business playing as much as he has. Other teams have finally figured him out. I'm sure every scouting report talks about his busy hands/body in the batters box, and his horrid approach at the plate.

This is really my point. He hasn't been given consistent at bats since the beginning of year. He was a big part of our success last year. I'm just trying to figure out what changed..why he started almost every game last year and has been somewhat shoved aside this year. And 3 for his last 25 notwithstanding, I still wish he had not been pinch hit for by Armstrong and been in his spot in the order and been up in the 9th with two on, down three.

Hey I don't disagree with you Kurt. He's not crushing it of late. But my question is still centered around WHY he's not playing this year like he did last? I'm sure it's hurt his confidence and certainly has not given him time to find his groove. But even with his struggles, I still would rather him be hitting than Armstrong.

He def

got a little more pop than Armstrong, but Armstrong, in limited appearances, has managed to hit a little better in SEC play.

People figured him out. He has one spot in his swing that he can hit the ball. He's a Walkon juco that tells me all I need to know.
