Of course there are people who care who wins the game this Friday. Just because nobody has said anything about it doesn’t mean they don’t care. I’m sure the folks supporting West Stokes care. And I know for a fact the folks in Trojan Country care about it.

What exactly do you mean by “not a good 3-seed”? Still a little salty that Franklin got beat on Friday? The better team won Friday night. Plain and simple.

This Friday will be a tough one for sure. No question about it. The team that mistakes the least amount of mistakes will be the team that comes out on top. I know it’s cliche to say that, but it’s truth.

I’m rooting for ALL Southfork teams..unless we play them:). Yea I’m not sure I get the comment either. Bandys has a strong team and can play ball. I bet they could keep it interesting with any team in 2AA

West Stokes barely beat Fred T. Foard. Bandy's should take them to the wood shed.

Not sure about either team. Bandy's lost to Hickory earlier in the year and that is kind of bad. We beat Bandys bad last year and I am sure they improved but I think not enough. West Stokes may pull an upset because I don't see Bandys all that good with a close game to Franklin. Franklin graduate a ton of seniors last year and have been beat handily by some average teams. Maybe a 3-0 game

If West Stokes can throw I think they can win. Franklin had a chance with three minutes to go and completely abandoned the run game. If they hit on a deep pas or two it's a different game possibly.. Bandys pass defense is the weak point of the team.

We played West Stokes once. Another reason why I never take any team for granted.

West Stokes may have to throw a pass or two. This should come down to the last possession unless Bandys can't cover the receivers. West has a better offense this year than their championship team. They can defend the pass very well.

West can absolutely win. They’re a really good football team. It’ll come down to how effective Bandys secondary play can be.

Couple of questions for you: were you at the Bandys/Franklin game? And how many Bandys games have you seen?

Not being ugly/mean or anything. Just curious. Only reason I ask is because if you haven’t seen very many games at all, I wouldn’t base your opinion based on just looking at a score. Franklin played well in that game on Friday. Bandys seemed to calm their emotions and played better in the second half. First half miscues could have also been attributed to having a week off as well.

I fully expect both teams to be locked in on Friday night. Expecting a good game.

Here is an interesting observation about this game between West Stokes and Bandys. The Head Coach at Bandys, Tom Eanes, was the head coach at East Surry in the 1990's. His son Drew Eanes now the offensive co-ordinator played at East Surry. Also an assistant coach at Bandys is the brother of Trent Lowman who is now the head coach at East Surry. The West Stokes coaching staff has FOUR East Surry graduates who played for Coach Diamont including his son and the head coach Jimmy Upchurch. Your reckon these gentlemen might know a little something about each other????!!!! Or should this game have been played at East Surry??!!

That is interesting and Bandys will be a well coached team. In the playoffs it's about matchups and Bandys and West got wins in the first round and that's all that matters. The weather and field conditions can also play a factor in this matchup.

Both teams are 11-1 I think. Even if they both played easier schedules 11-1 is a great season. The benefit is the winner will get Hibriten or Sp=Hibriten, haha. Hibriten will be in a war at least until halftime tomorrow. They may be beat up a little bit next week and early in next week's game. That will benefit the winner of this game. Not saying you all don't play hard. SP beat us bad in 2016 and the Hibriten kids were sophomores and have a bad taste still from that game. It is the last game we lost. So our guys will hit like freight trains tomorrow night. I heard from some players and the look in their eyes told me more then their mouths. They want to show 2016 was a fluke! Maybe this will help the winner of this game to stay in it early when we normally put the games away. If the underdog stays in long enough they start to believe they can win.
