Does anyone know the deal with Craig Jenkins?

Is he a complete headcase, or lazy, or just completely worthless? He's supposedly our 2nd string guard, but we've reshuffled the line about 18 times now, and he always remains 2nd string. If you're really second string, shouldn't you move up to 1st string when the guy in front of you goes down? Seems to me the staff has no faith in the guy. And being a senior, that's frustrating. He should be able to help us out at this point in his career.

Is this Justin Jenkins (Wide Reciever from several years ago) brother, the one from Pearl Miss or is this another Jenkins that also played O-Line. Dang if so seems like he has been there forever.</p>

Don't put much faith in preseason depth charts. He's our most experienced lineman, with more than 25 combined starts at tackle & guard. I expect Mullen would prefer to play the younger guys... Saulsberry, Smtih, Looney. But when the season starts and anyone gets banged up or has a bad game, I expect he'll be the first guy to step in.

He may not be an All-SEC type guy, but anyone with that kind of experience will prove to be valuable at some point during this season.</p>
