I have watched a lot of ACC women’s basketball and I am seeing the same thing. The refs are getting caught up in the emotion of the game and making really bad calls. I am not only talking about our game but all games. So my question is because of the virus are they getting refs local to the home courts the game is being played?

Not sure but I’ve been a season ticket holder for seven years and can tell you the refs in WBB are consistently inconsistent. At times it’s horrible. And this is something you will never hear me say about the men’s game. In the WBB it’s so bad it can and has cost teams the game. Case in point. It absolutely cost us the Final Four game against MISS ST. So I really haven’t seen any moments where it’s worse than normal because it’s always bad

Officiating in women’s basketball has always been horrific and it never seems to get better. There were some bad calls today that an 8 year old wouldn’t make.

My observation - quite a few times WF players took 3 steps to the goal and laid it up - no walking- 2 points..

Cards first is correct. That Miss St game was terrible. FWIW my daughter played D1 softball for four years. 90% of the time, the umpires were no better than high school level. For the conference tournaments they were ok. There is not penalty for not doing your job. The check cashed the same.

Agree one of their last buckets from the player from Serbia she took five steps. I counted them on replay.

Euro league play. Konno had the same issue last year and was called for traveling each time. Yesterday, not once By the WF players. Frustrating!
