Does anyone understand the APR reports?

I don't fully understand it, but this is my best summary of it with the limited knowledge I have. Basically every school is assigned a number (not sure what formula is used to get to that number) based on players graduating, transferring, or dropping out. That number has to be over some threshold (around 900 I think) or the school is subject to penalties. The first year you are under the threshold, you get no penalties, basically a warning, but every year after that one year, you lose scholarships and I believe the school is also fined.
That could all be totally off base, but that's my best understanding of it. I'm sure someone will correct whatever errors I made.

If this was UArk's 1st year under the cutoff, they get only a warning.
If this score showed improvement over last year's average there wouldn't be a penalty.
Or they could have self-imposed penalties last year (like we did).

three football scholarships hurts, but even losing one in basketball can be a big deal. especially with a team like tennessee.
The penalty line is actually 925, and I have no clue how they come up with the number.
All I know is that if a player leaves your program for any reason before his eligibility is up, it's a -1. That includes transfers, players being kicked off, anything. If the player is in poor academic standing when he leaves, or if he's flunking out, it's a -2.
Basically every player on your team counts for 2 points, 1 for remaining on the team and 1 for being in good academic standing. Not sure how they do the five year averages or how it equates to a 925.
