I did a quick google search "where does usc basketball coaches salary rank in SEC" and the Google AI provided the following:

As of early 2025 data, USC's men's basketball coach, Andy Enfield, ranked around the middle-to-upper tier in the SEC for salary when compared to other top coaches, with figures around $3.8 million, while SEC powerhouses like John Calipari at Arkansas and Rick Barnes at Tennessee are higher, but coaches like Nate Oats at Alabama are in a similar range...

I think the matrix just glitched....

I find that Google AI misunderstands about 50% of the questions I ask. I certainly wouldn't trust it with medical decisions.

You do realize most people (and GenAI platforms) outside of the Southeast assume you're referring to the University of Southern California when you refer to "USC" sports?

Well, Enfield did coach at USC (the west coast version) before going to SMU.
Good catch. Didn't think about USC = SoCal = Enfield.

I do get a lot of nonsensical AI responses though. During bowl season, I asked Chat GPT a question about PSU/Clemson games and it said they had played 9 times prior to the Pinstripe Bowl the most recent being the Orange Bowl in 2019. Totally wrong.

I recently asked how many times Montana has played Furman in football. The answer is twice with the Griz winning both contests, most recently in the 2023 FCS playoffs. I then asked how many times Montana State has played Furman in football. The answer was twice with the Griz winning both contests, most recently in the 2023 FCS playoffs. 🤣 Answers like that make me sometimes wonder if the the whole AI thing is smoke and mirrors.
