No. Sorry guys, but Iowa State's aggressive D is LEGIT. They blitz the hell out of the ball in the halfcourt, and I LOVE to see it.
I think we've got a real chance. The next game our players will feel like they're playing with house money. I've got a feeling they'll play great.

Joshua Jefferson is their best player and sprained his ankle today so if he's not playing or slowed down we have a good shot to win.
IMO it's up to Chandler and his shooting, unless Kam can do it like he did that one game.
Otherwise we lose with a potential blowout.
We absolutely can't get behind early. We better rebound like crazy on both ends and hope our 3 point shots go down.
Unfortunately, history tells us Pope won't have the team prepared and we will get down double digits.

Watching Field of 68 and unfortunately I have to agree with them. You just can't trust what UK team you are going to see. The only consistent thing about this team is their inconsistency. Will they play defense? Will CC, Oweh, and DA be able to make shots? Which MM and BG will you see? At this point, I just don't believe can beat ISU but hope I am wrong.

I agree. This team is an echo of what we would expect from Pope as long as he is at Kentucky. Pope's entire coaching career proves he's consistent at being inconsistent.
We have to stop 22 from going off, I know several of their players can shoot the 3 , but he is a problem if left open
We are going to kick iowas states punk azz by 15. If you are hitting last second shots game 1 of march majic then it's a good sign.

I don’t think UK played a team as disciplined That sticks to their principles 40 minutes. The closest we played was Fl but they were not disciplined in the second half .
IS creates turnover, shoots the in transition, have great defense. The coaches know each other . Unfortunately, IS is the better team even without the injured player.
now they did have couple games where they got blown out Kansas , AZ. If I was Pope I would watch what did I the other teams do to put them in difficulty and from that what can our players implement in a short turn around.
unfortunately, I think our players celebrated too much OO great shot and BG blocks shot and I do t trust them being focused these past 2 days. On contrast, IS players watched our the end of game and OT and their focused on us and United especially as their guy went down.

I think we make it a game for a while, then they go on a big run we can't recover from.
You guys might be right but we get hot from 3 and play sold D we will win this game. The guys played really well vs SC.

That’s what I’m afraid of. That we hang close all game long and lose it one a lapse right at the end. Kinda like High Point did last night.
I have very little faith we can beat them, with or without Jefferson. Almost no shot.
This is the type of team we regularly get behind 10 plus points within 5 to 10 mins of gametime.
That will also suck. If this game is over in 5 minutes, BBN is going to be VERY down.

I’d certainly like to get Momcilovic off their squad. Really liked his game in HS and he’s turned out to be a sniper. Going to have to do whatever we can to contain him. He had 8 3’s in their loss to Zona last week. He shoots almost 50% on 130 makes this year(7.5 attempts per game.) Oweh/Aberdeen/BG/Mo D/Morneo/Kam/Chandler all need to show up and show out. Total team effort from now on.

I’m not really into changing up the lineup to start the game, but I think I’d start Garrison today on that 3 pt guy and then worry about size and stuff elsewhere. I think he’s up to the task right now and could give us a big lift defensively to start this game. Whether you wanted to start Moreno also, idk.
