I think the i jury gives us a brother chance but dont think its enough. Brandon garrison and somr of the other guys still play far too haphazardly. One could make the argument we lose to Santa Clara 50% of the time. And this team is much better than them, with a lot more talent.

I agree. This team is an echo of what we would expect from Pope as long as he is at Kentucky. Pope's entire coaching career proves he's consistent at being inconsistent.

That’s the issue. It is set in stone. He’s a bad recruiter and wildly inconsistent with a low 60% winning %. That is not going to change. He’s too old for it to change. You see so many people “it’s what Golden did” golden is FORTY years old. Pope was in High school or near high school when he was born, Golden was a damn baby when Mark was at UK lol. There is no similarity in what they’ve done the path they’re on the age nothing. No similarity. Golden went right up, and at Florida not a premier program. Not a bad one but not premier. It’s still a football school who emphasizes football.

People seem to have a subconscious thought that Mark is just going’s that he’s an up and comer. He isn’t. But even if he doesn’t make it, maybe he can end the final four drought or make something happen for a year. I just don’t want standards lowered but they won’t be. It’s pretty clear Mark cannot win to standard but if he can find a way of course I’d love it. But there is no way.

I think Iowa State is better and wins but I hope UK wins. Iowa State is one of the best in the country.
