Actually, I'm wondering if we are going to let that grad assistant filling in take the receivers coach job or if we're looking elsewhere? I wouldn't mind going after a receivers coach at some mid-major pass happy team.

The guy that was the WR's coach there when Dan was the OC is at LSU now- Billy Gonzalez. I would love to have him as our WR coach.

If Dan thinks that the grad assistant is the best guy for the job, that's fine with me. I think we will do a good job of finding a coach when the bowl season ends.

I actually can't believe that Temple hired Steve Addazio. He sucks.

WTF were they thinking when they hired Steve Addazio to be their head coach??? He was terrible as an offensive coordinator.

his job would have been a lot easier if he hadn't been forced to play a pro style QB in a spread option system.

Their 09 offensive numbers weren't that bad especially when you consider that he didn't have near the weapons Fla. did in 08.

And their problems this year went beyond trying to run a spread option with a pro style QB. They looked pretty bad with the other2 QBs as well.</p>

Burton cannot throw. That's not Addazio's fault with a guy in his true frosh year. Their overall talent was pretty bad this year. Brantley is not even very godo. But Brantley should have been put in a better system. If Addazio made the decision to run that ridiculous offense then its his fault, but common sense says it wasn't his decision.

And yes, there are a lot of OC that would have loved to have the talent he had in 09 and they would have also loved the production he had in 09. But going from Murphy and Harvey to Nelson and Cooper was a huge blow that a lot of people noted.

So in short, Addazio has been as good as his talent...like with most coaches.
