As we all obviously know, Steve Pikiell’s coaching prowess swings wildly from game to game depending on the result. How is this possible? In my expert opinion, he must have multiple personality disorder. How else to explain genius moves one day, like telling Cam Spencer to make threes, and really dumb moves on different days, like telling people on the OTHER TEAM to make threes? They’re on the other team, Steve!

Can someone please email Steve to tell him? It could just save the season!

Every stat we know about our team the opponent knows and designs a defense to stop it.
Cam had a series of poor games and in my humble opinion, the opposing team severely limited his catch, one dribble and shoot…by design.
When he has an open look to shoot in his rhythm he’s lethal

He makes defenses pay for making mistakes and the more we move the ball and make hard cuts and utilize screens the more likely the D is to give him room.

I really liked that movie and the true story behind it. The human mind is an unbelievable, deeply fascinating, thing.
Yeah, you really get sucked into it at the beginning and almost start believing all that stuff was really happening to him. Very sad though how he and his wife passed away.

I find it very ironic there is a thread on a mental disorder from a person who's screen name treats a mental disorder.
And it's also ironic that a highly regarded medical expert like fluoxetine isn't aware that the proper term for multiple personality disorder is now "dissociative identity disorder". Maybe he's behind on the mandatory continuing education required to maintain his medical licensure. But he should be excused, since spending time discussing Rutgers sports is obviously far more important.

Obviously I knew that but I didn’t want to confuse others

Sorry. I should have realized that. And I agree that some posters might have had a harder time understanding if you'd called it by the currently accepted name... By the way, are you accepting new patients?

True story(0ne of a million over the years). Newly out of grad school, got a job working on the adolescent inpatient unit. It was late on a 3-11 shift on a Sunday night. Kids were due their meds. The new nurse and only one with med keys was no place to be found. Found her and told her to hurry up. Well long story short she starts talking in a little kids voice, in a totally dissociative state. Being a new kid just out of school I was like WTF? Summing up, I got the nurse from the adult unit to come over until the Nursing director came in.
Needless to say, we all went out drinking afterwards at the then Charlie Brown's in H. Park.
Only saw another MPD years later in a 1:1 in my then office, another UMDNJ position.

Am not a psych expert by any means, but I do know for sure fluox is dissociated from basketball analysis truths just like Bac is dissociated from science truths.

I understand your thread is sarcastic and humorous.
May I humbly suggest that nevertheless, you change the headline to make it more innocuous. Because to those who only see headlines it reads awfully... And truthfully, it makes me frown rather than smile when I see the headline.
Thanks for thinking about it,
Loyal

I thought he made a mistake taking Cam out with 2 fouls in the 1st half.

His rotations were bad.
But he put Cam back in just a few minutes later. It's not like he left Cam on the bench the rest of the 1st half like he does when Cliff gets a 2nd foul.

Part of me wants to agree with you but the other part is holding me back.
