Now we wait and find out if any of the rumor talk adds up to anything. If not he has the crucial 3 games coming up after Alabama where he has to win them all to likely make a bowl. Anything less than 6 wins and he probably should be gone. I think 4 might be our ceiling though.

If the rumors do turn out to be false, I hope we can bring to light the person or persons that started these rumors. It would be one thing to report on something that was actually true. But to completely fabricate such a vicious story is way out of bounds.
If they were true, and if they were THAT big of a deal, then why was he coaching tonight?
This has been discussed. Perhaps Barnhart was still in the process of cementing the case (I'm sure Stoops refuted the claims). Barnhart and Capilouto can feel strongly the rumors are true without being able to legally prove it at this point. Perhaps it was out of respect to the players to let the guy coach one more game instead of shaking things up drastically right before the game.
Have to agree. If the rumors were even any thing close to true, can't see him coaching here.
