cannot throw the ball down the field. Enough of this 5 and 6 yard crap. We've got to stretch the defense and the only way you're gonna do that is by throwing it and completing some passes down the field. We have yet to do it all year............So to answer your question, "hell yeah" it concerns me.

Either that or Croom's conservative thinking will only let him throw gimmie completions.

......the QB doesn't throw picks and the offense doesn't fumble the ball away. If he gets that, he believes the defense will win the game for us. Today he was right. Most of the time he isn't.

We never take shots down the field except on the last play of a half. PLEASE play action Dixon a few times for shots down the field. Any risk of a turnover is offset by our offense's consistent inability to drive for points.

We really just need to gameplan around tyson better. He's not going to be the best pocket passer, but everytime he did a play action roll out pass... or just a roll out pass... he made plays. So, I think we need to move him around a little more, and he'll be fine. You people will gripe about anything.

we looked a lot better today, at least, we looked a lot more like we did last year in that we found ways to win, instead of finding ways to lose. we were 9 of 18 on 3rd downs. that's the stat for me. when we needed to make plays, we made them. that's all you can ask for as far as i'm concerned. it may not have been a "promising" win for some of you, but it's good enough for me to have faith in state being competitive from here on out..

great defense + minimal mistakes on offense = success.

next week we'll have a much better idea of where we could potentially be by season's end.

Lee is probably playing to 100% of his God-given ability. He's short w/a dud O-line. Basically, he's there just to not lose the game.

We're gonna have to do it theMSU way. Running and defense.

Special teams is/will killing us.

We were lucky y'day w/the bad punting

Another Saturday of shanks and UT will run us through.
