Does the Postponement Help or Hurt Teams 5-8A?

Does the layoff help/hurt any team(s) in particular? Injuries, momentum, etc. What does practice look like? Will coaches add a new wrinkle or two to the previous game plan?

I think a bad weather game would have definitely favored Fenwick and Providence.
PC, Fenwick, and Oswego had to be loving the idea of a mucky blizzard bowl slowing down their opponents who have more explosive playmakers on the edge.

PC was for sure going to win a blizzard bowl. Decent conditions brings it back to a tossup. Fenwick and Oswego, with their opponents being clearly superior in firepower, also had to see the opportunity to equalize slip away with the reschedule. In a blizzard, both ESL and MC are likely favored by 15-20. Without a blizzard, they likely are favored by 30ish or more .

Reminds me of the Philly MS phenom Marcus Dupree 6'3" 225 lbs. consistently ran a 4.3 forty in high school and at Oklahoma freshman camp when he weighed 235.

High School Football stats
  • Career rushing yards: 7,355
  • Career yards per carry: 8.3
  • Career touchdowns: 87 (breaking the national high school record)

I can just hear a coach whose team is down 30 points in the first quarter telling a sideline reporter, "Well Erin, we're hoping for a blizzard at half-time."

That will be Oswego :ROFLMAO:
No, Oswego needed the blizzard before the game and all throughout the game. At halftime it will be too late to help them.

Oswego's win probability was 8 percent if played today. It is under 1 percent on the rescheduled date.

Fenwick had a 15 percent win probability in the blizzard. Likely sub 10 percent on Tuesday.

I really feel PC had a 70 percent plus chance to win today on a slow track. On Tuesday, that will be 50-50, or maybe even a slight edge to Francis.

St. Francis is the biggest winner from the reschedule.
