I think it's funny when people call soccer a communist sport. Especially considering that the biggest US sport in the biggest communist country in the world (china) is basketball. And in Cuba, another communist country, the biggest sport is baseball.
I guess that means basketball and baseball are communist sports too.

I was making a flippant comment about the international nature of the sport while expressing my disdain for the international nature of the sport. However, in rebuttal to your argument, since basketball and basball have their roots in america (yes I know baseball is derived from cricket but its evolution into baseball took place in America), then no they are not communist sports. In actuality I would not consider soccer a communist sport either since it has such world-wide appeal. In fact I would actualy categorize it as a starving-third-world country sport. I have ceased hiding my dislike for this sport and repeat what I have said on here many times <17> soccer.
