Should at least learn how to spell first.
You are just someone who probably dropped out of high school who wants to feel important and powerful

To me it is sad because obviously you have the need to be someone
But being someone on a message board and being someone in real life are two different things

Time to separate reality from fantasy.

You still are just poor white trash when you turn the screen off

Never posted an inaccurate thing here. You on the other hand have no life. So sad.

Advisor..
Adviser?

You are not a financial advisor
And no one is a financial adviser.

Oh bummer you got me!!!! I will bet you $10,000

There is no difference between “adviser” and “advisor” besides spelling, and both are acceptable for someone who gives advice. Some people, though, feel that “advisor is more formal. Advisor “tends” to be used for people having an official position—for example , an advisor to the President.
Merriam-Webster>words-at-play

Financial adviser vs advisor-both are proper English, but advisER is proper spelling when referring to a RIA or an IAR..........(which Greg is)
Kitces.com

@TownesVanZandt @spartansstink
Look up the the Investment AdvisERs Act of 1940 you two fvckin morons. Congress wrote it in the Act as advisER. AdvisER tells an insider there is a a greater distinction. Added Licensing.

Generally though to a non insider today Financial adviser and Financial Advisor have the same dictionary definition.

Save your money morons. I’m willing to delete this entire spanking I gave you two if you delete your toxic posts. If not I’ll keep this here to bump at my leisure.

Hey Texass go google away and try to move the goal posts haha. You might even qualify as a financial advisOR after your search. You’ll have to put a little more effort in if you want to be an advisER. I was setting @spartansstink up for a spanking but you’re the gift that keeps giving. You’re on my turf assclown.

Anyone can find anything they want on Google, right?

Being so unsure you have to look it up to find references. Sure, Greg.

Sadly, another thread goes into the toilet. :flush:

Investment AdivsERs Act of 1940 idiot. One of the Laws that defines the financial advising industry. Your double down is more pathetic than your original reply to me. I’ve always been an AdvisER since I passed the Series 65 goofball. I just support my post with something Texass couldn’t BS around. You jumped back so take your misfire and move along. Don’t triple down. You told you don’t think I’m a good handle here so fine pack it in. Don’t talk financial advising with me sir. This thread went sideway because of tool Texass. Look at my posts to the other handles. You were rude to me sir.

Why would I want to discuss financial advising with you? For one, this is a thread about the football season and corona virus. Second, you know about as much about being a financial adviser (sic) as TVZ knows about Texas. Neither act fools anyone. Third, this thread has now become about you. You've made it so and therefore you deserve every amount of rudeness anyone wants to give you two.

There was a thread a week or so back. If you two would rehash your arguments there, it would allow those of us who want to post more serious discussions to do so here without having to go through 3 or 4 pages worth of worthless drivel from you two scrotes to do so.

You say it all fell apart when he came on the scene? Why then couldn't you ignore him?

It has to be the sexual chemistry you two have for each other. Take it somewhere else.

Listen jerk you crawled from underneath your rock and started on me. I was putting smackoff Texass in his place and you barged into the thread. Are you positive about your opinion about my career? I’m defending myself from you and Texass moron. I was minding my own business. Look at the third post in this thread jerk. You have adding nothing except being a toxic jerk.

Don’t think for a minute that I give a crap what you think. I’ll post to and/or ignore at my leisure fool. Not yours.

Love it!!! Texass goal posts on the move.
US Congress
Investment AdvisERs Act of 1940

mic drop

Doesn't matter.
US government and pretty much the entire US spells it as advisor today
Outside of the US and Canada you will see adviser.

So unless you time travelled or are posting from London you are spelling it wrong

I’ll go all night abusing you son.

I would say you're the one who had too many pints. Desantis didn't close the beach's until he felt political pressure to do so. Even then he resisted to do so. You yourself said that you welcomed the spring breakers in another thread. You're just exposing yourself as the hypocrite you are by your denial.

Enough. You are a lying ****. Go chew another pouch of tobacco...and swallow it for your entertainment. Stop saying i said crap i didnt say weenie.

You did say it in a thread a few weeks back. You said you were happy to have the spring breakers. Now you are complaining about a group of people who want to watch live football. such a hypocrite. Go play with your model airplanes.

Just can't help yourself

He gets the assist dipshit. Beating your head in is a team event. You are embarrassing yourself.

Let’s go fool. Come on. Let’s talking financial advising. You convinced one hillbilly moron I wasn’t in finance. But you know better. You lied to the site. Let’s talk finance all night long. Or Pitt. Heck I’m a 1708(latest chess rating) let’s go there.

I am going to waste about 45 seconds of my day.

Doesn't matter how people feel about you. In the end you can turn off the screen and you are who you really are.
Simple as that, Greggy.

We try to talk sports particularly West Virginia sports but there are people who don't
There are people who take this a little too far. You are one Greggy. Who cares who you online. Doesn't matter in the end.
If people think you are a millionaire or in the gutter it isnt real.

This is the internet

Why waste the time

Hypocrite rootmaster who resorts to insults when asked to clarify past statements. If people over 65 like myself were passing away at the same rate as those under 40 we wouldn't be doing half the things were doing.

I respect that geez
Greg the thing that worries me the most at the moment is the economic damage being caused by this. Some of these small businesses are done for good. There not coming back. We are printing money with nothing to back it up. If People 65 five or older were dying at the same rate as those under 40 we wouldn't have half the restrictions in place. I know a single mother who cuts hair who can't work because its not deemed an essential business. She is more worried about how shes gonna make her car payment and mortgage payment and putting bread on the table for her kids then getting the corona virus. There are quite few young folks who feel that way. We have to find away to get this economy moving again. Most younger folks will be hurt more economically than getting sick from this thing. CV isn't going away until there is a vaccine. That will most likely be 18-24 months down the road. We can't wait that long. Some people want to hide underneath a rock until this goes away well that's there business. I say we gotta find away to ease some of these restrictions an open things up.

I assume you were referring to me. I'm bored of you and I think I'll kick you right in the old proverbial nuts.

You're gay. We get it now. How do I know? Nobody with a wife or family could spend as much time addicted to this site as you. Plus, you're too ugly, fat, or have no personality to get you even another gay man. Likely, its all three and even that person would grow tired of your omnipresence on this site.If you are the goofy-looking dude on the website that was posted or have his genetics by chance, its assured. sadly for you, you claim you aren't near as good looking as THAT guy so woe be unto you. It all makes sense now, right?

If you aren't gay, that's fine too. But you aren't going to get a real person Greg by constantly hitting on Townes in every thread, all day and night, every day and night.

Now, on to the finance topic.

No, he didn't convince me you're a fraud. You did.

In one post, you stated you make @ 200-300K per year. In another post, you stated you make around 800K per year. So, either you're lying in one post or the other or both. Or, you've robbed some poor teachers of their pensions. So, which is it?

Yet, in another thread, you stated you weren't a millionaire but were known all over the country for being so ultra-successful. When another poster listed the top 100 in the state of Pennsylvania, you were nowhere to be found. So, either you were #101 or you aren't near as successful as you think you are, or you're a fraud poser. I'm guessing the third. Those folks wouldn't call themselves "advisers". Only a shill would do that.

So, I must ask, what kind of person in finance couldn't turn that kind of money into millions? I've done it with way less. The answer: YOU! So, either you're a fake (most likely) or you're some kind of hack googling info or you've gotten a hold of some college textbook at a Salvation Army and you try to quote from it. But, your lack of classical education shows in your post. There are many things one can hide, but an education isn't one of them. You aren't so you can't.

Finally, you aren't worth a snot at chess. If you were, you'd see I'm always about five moves ahead of you on here. I know how you'll respond next and I'll humiliate you some more if I wish. I've got plenty to go on.

The economic damage, like the virus, is temporary. Slowly, the markets will reopen and as people get their finances straightened out again, things will improve. Slowly at first, but as the fear subsides, so will this temporary recession.
The demand side will drive things until the supply side catches back up. As long as there is a demand, they'll be someone to eventually meet it.

This printing money is a scary thing. I'm not seeing how this can't lead to some amount of inflation in the future. So, unless the FED has some plan to withdraw some of this money, look out.

Any financial ADVISOR worth their salt would recommend that every family have at least 3 months (most likely it should be at least 6-9) worth of capital on hand in reserve in case of emergencies.Sadly, today people don't know this or heed it and its catching up to them now. They think they have to have the latest, greatest gadget, the newest Iphone, $300 worth of cable TV and a couple of 40K+ automobiles instead or life just isn't being lived to the fullest. While I have empathy for them, I don't really have much sympathy. Hopefully, this will make people realize what's important to them, and a $900 Iphone isn't it.

Oh no, younger people would be hurt WAY more by catching this than the older generations. Their cash reserves, their insurance, all would be stressed to the max by catching this virus. Not to mention the untold number of people they would come into contact with just by simply being more social. The financial ramifications would be staggering.

These viruses come in waves. The summer will help slow it down and in the fall as the weather drives more people inside it will come back. Probably not as bad as more and more people will know what to do to help defend against it. There's hope, its just a little ways off yet.

The damage is not temporary most liberal and conservative economists agree that the recovery will be slow. 50% of the people who contract it have little to no symptoms 80% have mild symptoms. More young people will be hurt economically than by getting sick from this.

Like I said, temporary but slow. To some, things like this cause fear and panic, and a sense of doom. I tend to look into the future rather than focusing on the present.
As FDR said, all we have to fear is fear itself. It will bounce back but some seem to think it has to happen overnight or it won't happen at all.
No, I still believe they will be hurt more financially if they get sick. Some will have no symptoms, some mild, some severe. However, they have a much longer life, per se, in the market to recoup any losses they may occur now. Getting laid off is hard but not permanent (or it shouldn't be). Getting sick to the point of financial ruin, which can happen to a person at any age, is one of the leading causes of going bankrupt today but is least likely to hurt those financially who've been in the market the longest and have more capital resources to draw from, i.e. the older generation rather than the younger ones.
Hope this makes my point a little more clear.

I’m with you sir. Your experience shows. And I respect it. I am younger than you. But I’m not young. 50s. I know what you’re saying for sure. You understand the damage this lock down is doing. And realize the damage it’s doing. I’m not sure what the answers are but I see no way this can go on for months until we “think” the virus is contained. It never will be eliminated. People are still dying from the Flu, Ebola breakouts and HIV. Sadly we may have to coexist with this things. Stay safe sir! Prayers and good wishes sent!!!
Greg.
