Heres your apology...go 17 yourself dipshit.

You and the 17ing interwebs cred seeking buffoons are the exact reason I posted he wasn't enrolling. Did you ever stop to think that maybe, just maybe, it would be a good thing if everyone thought he wasn't enrolling early? See what was trying to be avoided was the shitbags from the University of Mississippi rebel landshark blackbears having any last second chances to do any of their usual shenanigans to derail one of our top recruits from doing what he wanted to do.

At some point the idiots like you, Rosebowl and all the other morons that just care about being right and in the know versus doing what is the best for our programs, must get the fact we have to stop shooting ourselves in the foot when it comes to recruiting. Sometimes it's ok to be wrong when spreading that message is for the greater good of our sports. You assclowns don't seem to get that and until you do, you will continue to derail our efforts at being better year in and year out than the shitbags from up north. Sometimes it's better to just stay away from the keyboard.

I allowed my interwebs cred to suffer for the greater good hoping it would diffuse the situation. Guess what 17stick? My info was ultimately better than yours and I was smart enough to try to use it for the good of our program instead of making sure everyone knows how 17ing in tune to the program I am. 17ing idiot.

That's as good as you'll get from me dickhead. Hope you accept my apology. Sincerely.

some things just dont need to be leaked for the greater good- this was one of them...Paul Jones understands this- Rosebowl and others dont. <div>

Without your efforts on this message board we most surely would have not only lost Quay but most likely our entire class to Yancy's meddling.

Too many assclowns like Rosebowl just have to be right, no matter the damage they are doing in the process. The whole "first" mentality permeates the internet, meaning that instead of thinking about repercussions, people just run their mouths.

This is extreme, and in no way do I condone what happened at Penn State, but do you see what can take place when people keep their mouths shut?

I know for fact that opposing coaches have shown recruits **** posted on forums, such as this one. Sometimes its just better to keep your mouth shut and step away from the keyboard. There's a reason that Dan makes over two million a year, leave him alone and let him do his job. Buy tickets, go to the games, support the team.

Yancy's been telling the Bear faithful Quay was going to visit and they were getting an in-home with him. Had it been known he was enrolling early, he wouldnt have been saying that **** now would he? You guys thought you had more time on Quay- and well, you didnt.

dpaul6 thinking that something he does or doesn't post on a message board affects MSU's program makes him a moron. More time on Quay? Less time on Quay? Losing Ward to Bama? Gross is going to play baseball in Japan? We're in early on a 5* DB from Dubai? My cousins aunt's sister's boyfriend's uncle's nanny knows a guy who said that Favre is going to start the bowl game...

It's all ****. Every. Last. Bit. Including my post....

It doesn't have anything to do with getting a great AD in who made a good HC hire. Or having another AD come in who is running the program more efficiently, marketing effectively to fans and creating excitement about the program. It's all about the page views right? Sure, your AD is using social media as a marketing tool, but I'd wager that if the internet hadn't existed over the past 5 years, and all other things remained the same, your program and ours would be in just about the same places that we currently are. You would be enjoying an up tick, and we'd be lamenting a down turn.

I hate to burst your "internet is king" bubble, but it's not. Real life decisions, personal relationships and good business practices are what matter in NCAA football. State is simply out performing OM in the recent past. Internet might play a small, secondary or tertiary role, but I guarantee you, it's much smaller than you think.

Sure the admin gets ideas and a feel for what fans want from this site. Things like: music during game, atmosphere ideas, tailgating experience, what to sell in concessions, etc.

But there is no way you believe that tossing our ideas around about when a recruit is enrolling or not, what QB to play, what offense to run, etc., has any effect on the decisions our AD and coaches make. Surely not? Please tell me you aren't that pathetic? Please.

...if you don't think webland is used against us. You think a coach would bother printing off posts from this site and others to show to a recruit if they didn't think it would help?

I understand that it was not 'the' determining factor for any kids commitment, but the mere fact that a coach showed a recruit printoffs of posts shows that coaches think it helps/hurts.

When it became apparent to Greg Byrne that he was going to fire Crooms- he got someone to start the "What do you think of Hud as head coach?" threads going on SPS and others to gauge fan reaction if he were to hire Mark as the next State coach. Byrne is a big Hud fan and had Mullen not accepted- Hud was going to be State's head coach. Mullen didnt hire Hud- Byrne forced him to. And that was part of the friction that existed between the two. Not all- but part. <div>
</div><div>This is what I'm talking about- not using SPS to find out what offense we want run at State genius.</div>

The upside down S on the back of the dawgzillatron and the MISSISSIPI on the back of the baseball scoreboard. The sign on the back of the baseball scoreboard was down within a couple of hours after someone on here posted a picture of it and someone else noticed the spelling error.

measure feedback, then I'll accept that. Anything other than his direct word, and it's all internet assumptions, speculation and story telling. And even if he DID tell you face to face, I'm still left trying to decide if I believe you or not. That's precisely why all this **** boils down to rumor, speculation and hearsay, or to put it another way, uselss yet entertaining horseshit.

Some times that horseshit comes true, sometimes it doesn't. People who fight over it need their priorities evaluated.

Once again you are making my point for me. You are more worried about whether I'm right and you are wrong or vice versa than the fact that recruiting info should be used for the good of our program and not someones message board cred. You don't get it and most likely won't. You, who unfortunately represents a large portion of this board, along with the bear trolls have turned this board into Tigershit north where the important thing is being more right or in the know than the next guy no matter it could hinder the efforts of the program. **** you may as well be a bear.

amongst the sea of idiots, I've got to be the secondary voice of reason here. If you think that what is said or not said on this message board affects the MSU program then you are a complete idiot that shouldn't be allowed to breathe the same air that I breathe. I've been around the football program for 5 years and I can tell you that the only people who read the message boards are the managers and trainers. If you think your one post regarding a recruit, player, or thecolor of the uniforms the team is wearing affects what the athletic department does, then you should seriously considerjoining the police force, where egotism is glorified.
