Both U of M boards are reporting something big is about to happen. Poster leaked the info that he got a txt saying Tobias committed to them sometime in the past two weeks and they flipped Brassell and Johnson. FWIW
surprised they didn't add Tyler Russell and LaDarius Perkins to the list of names headed to Oxford next month.
There's no way Ole Miss is able to pull off all three, especially Johnson. Two would be a major coup.
In recruiting, and generally in life, when a rumor is that one-sided in favor of a particular school, or any group, it means it's total bullsh*t. This is especially true when there is so much more positive news surrounding the State football program right now.

I hate to say it but we won't truly know the status of Tobias until the AA game. There is a strong possibility that he will end up in Starkville but if i was everybody I would only be about 60% sure of it. I believe that we won't really know until he puts on the hat in the AA game. Again though the odds are in our favor at the moment.
accurate but I am hearing rumors that Singleton is having more academic challenges than anticipated and Brassell definetly has an uphill climb. So even if we sign these guys they may not be available in the near future and we all know how that juco re-recruitment process can go. I hope the rumors are false!
to see Brassell at UM. Honestly Whitehead wouldn't be that big a surprise either as there has be consistent talk regarding both recruits. However, Singleton would be a surprise and Johnson would be a complete shocker. All four have the ability and would likely play for us next year. Brassell and Johnson would likely start with Singleton getting some specific plays made to highlight his ability (ala Heavens and Carr the last two years respectively). I'm not as sure about Whitehead but I would think he has a chance to earn some special team and backup play on the corners.

appears he decided to take his senior year off academically. He was not projected to have issues with his ACT and core GPA up until this fall but he does appear to have a problem right now that can hopefully be fixed. He might have to decide to graduate from another High School besides Madison Central to make it. We will see.
