I've been hanging around for a while, but haven't registered until now. Something has been bothering me this week, and that was LSU's penalty on the goal line, and the more that I think about it, the more I think that Bama was coached to get LSU a penalty. Think about it. I'm sure they know that the refs favor them, and even if penalties went against bama, it would only be half the distance to the goal line, not a 15 yarder. I tried to find a replay, but couldn't. I remember thinking it was amazing the number of bama players that were getting chippy. In short, our team needs to watch out for junk like this, and not give in!! It was the difference in the LSU game and could be the difference in ours as well!!

I thought the same thing. It seemed the entire defense for Bama was sort of in LSU's face all at once. Then the push.

Now that you mention it, sounds like old Saban coached them to do that. Classy bunch of people over there.

yep, now SEC admits refs were wrong...

QUOTE OF THE DAY: “Often we only do see the retaliation. What we’ve got to do is see the whole situation.”

—SEC coordinator of officials Steve Shaw on the SEC teleconference Wednesday, indirectly admitting that his officiating crew blew a call Saturday night when an official whistled LSU offensive guard Vadal Alexander for unsportsmanlike conduct on the Alabama 6-yard line with just over a minute to play. Alabama defensive lineman A’Shawn Robinson was picked up by video pulling Alexander’s leg – literally – before Alexander pushed Robinson. LSU was penalized 15 yards and later settled for a field goal and 13-10 lead with 50 seconds to play. Alabama tied the game, 13-13, with :03 remaining and won 20-13 in overtime.
