Don't feel near as bad this morning as I thought

Why?

1) This team overachieved. It was a good team, but certainly not one made to make it to Omaha and get to the final series. If we had lost to Virginia, I would have thought it was well. I would only put it ahead of the 2007 team in terms of most skilled State CWS teams in my lifetime.
2) The fan support was phenomenal. I hope kids around the country were watching because Cohen can sell them on that level of support if they come to State. We have some of the best fans in college sports and we would load up the stands no matter what sport we were playing for if the Natty was on the line.
3) The leadership at State that lead to this is still mostly intact. Stricklin has made the same kinds of moves the Ninja has taken and Keenum is the best university president since Dr. Z.
4) We will be back and I think teams across the university have a hunger for the title. It will be a competition to get there first.

Hail State!

UCLA's coaching staff are like surgeons. Very methodical. Very calculating and exacting. I envision those MFers sitting in a bat cave near Omaha with a bank of Crays spitting out formulae and **** setting up their rotations and lineup. I wanted to shove those grandpa glasses up that MFers ***.

In this venue it would have been hard for anyone to beat them. They beat some good teams to win the thing.
