I think people are misreading the NCAA statement. I don't think the NCAA has confirmed it's investigating Mississippi. Just a general statement that they will investigate tampering and that they can't comment on any investigations that may be ongoing. Doesn't matter anyway. Even if they are, worst case Mississippi might get a slap on the wrist 5 years from now.
