Don't remember a recruiting year like this.

One where you have four of the top recruits in the state that are undecided at this point and also appear to be somewhat linked together. Of course I'm talking about Johnson, Brassell, Singleton and Whitehead. Should be interesting.

I think we get Brassell and and Singleton and you all get Johnson and Whitehead.

Nice job by the Mississippi coaching staff to do their research on Brassell's baby mama drama. Even more impressive to choose the recruiting dead period (while Mullen and his staff are preparing their team for a New Year's Day smack down) to implement the plan that will steal Nick's binding verbal commitment.

Without the baby mama drama to deal with, I still think Singleton, Johnson, and Whitehead will go where they (& Brassell) wanted to go all along...MSU.

I've had a feeling all along, and I've been saying it, that this year's recruiting in Mississippi was going to get ugly.

I can't remember a year in the past when we've had this many head to head battles for prospects with the prospects just about all having Ole Miss and MSU as their top two.

You have Aaron Morris, Justin Bell, Senquez Golson, Donte Moncrief, Marcus Mayers, Jermaine Whitehead, Nick Redmond, James Maiden, Joe Price, Joe Morrow, CJ Johnson, D Arrington, Nick Brassell, Tobias Singleton, and PJ Jones that I'm pretty sure were all Ole Miss/MSU decisions.

That's 15 just at first glance, and I may be missing a few others. Most all of those have been hotly contested too, not many slam dunks for one school on that list. You could also add Kameron Wood to the list, even though he was out of state. He was another that had Ole Miss/MSU as his top two.

We've got 27 days until signing day with most official visits still to come. I expect it to get pretty wild in the next 4 weeks.
