I've seen nothing official yet. Football Scoop is not official. ;)

He didn't play here. Not gonna give him any leeway.
Matter of fact, let me be the first to say it.
Fire this clown! He was sent here to ruin the program, and has done nothing here. Bring back Bobo!

It would be reassuring if any mainstream media source and/or either university confirmed the alleged hiring.

Here is what I liked in that article:

"I have also been told that Nebraska has backed off of Tilford for the time being, with the desire to flip USC commit Stephen Carr now. The Nebraska staff feels optimistic that they can do so."

Very impressive. Looks like a difference maker.

I don't think there are any shortage of options at RB. Greg Johnson IMO the staff has in their back pocket. He's a Donte Williams get. He *can* be the class RB if we fill up the secondary with other high level players. So I feel like the staff's strategy is going to be, flip Carr as he's the best back on the board, and then use Johnson where ever you might need him (WR, DB).

If you can't flip Carr, then you have a couple options. If a bunch of top rated DB's jump on board (Blades, Graham, Holmes, etc), then Johnson becomes a floater option between the 5th WR and Safety and you go after Tilford to play RB. If Tilford won't do the late flip then Johnson becomes the RB.

Good situation to be in. They are going after Carr first IMO, because they feel Johnson is in the bag and it allows them to go for the home run with a great fall back position.
