I was at the RAC tonight and didn't see Doorson in the game at all. Is he hurt?

GRF - Mack's matchup issues are not comparable to Doorson's. I like Shaq - he's learning & he plays hard. He'll get better each year. But the front court starters were active (though jack & junior weren't good on offense). Eddie barely even got DJ in the game...

I think the more salient point is that Maryland stretches the floor and runs a lot of screens on the wings. Doorson might have been drawn out away from the basket - not his comfort zone. The other guys have faster feet.

I agree that Mack shouldn't be playing 39 minutes. That's too much for anyone in college.

Williams scored 6 points in 6 minutes in the first half. In fact he would have had 8 points if offensive interference wasn't called on Jack. He never got into the game in the second half until 55 seconds remained. That made absolutely no sense to me. He had 0 turnovers and Daniels had 3 in the game. Daniels scored 8 points but played like 26 minutes. Williams is better on defense too. I am confused why Daniels played so much more. Myles was never taken out in the second half .Surely Williams could have given Myles a 3 or 4 minute rest. I am also confused why Foreman played 7 minutes in the first half and never got in at all in the second half. He was the best player in our last game vs. Purdue scoring 15 points and tonight hardly played. Jack should have sat for a few minutes in the second half for a brief rest. It seemed like Eddie wanted Mack & Jack to each play all 20 minutes of the second half. We definitely need guys to get a brief rest but Eddie seems set in his ways.

MD's 7 footer was hurt. If he played, so would have Doorson. After Dodd, MD played a bunch of 6'-8" guys in the post. Shaq would not be able to cover any of them. I understand not playing Doorson. Not playing Williams is a head-scratcher.

Did we need 2 bigs in the game all 40?

Maybe yes because Jack rebounded and Lewis knocked down 14 footers.

Still you need to find a way to reward Williams.
