But as of now, he likely won't be a first round draft pick. Certainly, that could change if he has a good season, but this is the second year in a row he has hurt his knee playing football- and there are rumors that he will miss much of the baseball season again this year- much like last year. That alone will drop his draft stock.
He didn't make MLB.com's top 50 draft prospects, and their guy Jonathan Mayo is to me the most accurate guy I have seen other than Peter Gammons when it comes to the MLB draft.
If the draft were today, I would expect him to be drafted somewhere between rounds 3-10.
