There was a time when USM was a hated rival. Now, I forget they exist. Still funny about the Rebs, though.
I hates USM in high school because of 1 awful terrible person at hillcrest named shane. As I got older, every single USM person I met was awesome and now a few of my best friends went there.

I generally pull for USM in sports. My best friend and my wife both went there, and I've been to The Rock and The Pete several times and had good times. Hope they can eliminate Bama today and make a run at Miami afterward.
But there's nothing funnier than watching Ole Miss strand the bases loaded to drop game 1 of their own regional, after every Rebel fan I know crowed for a week about how they have more Q1 wins than anyone and with their Hoover run they should be a Top 8 national seed.
