On the plus side, 17 Vandy. Even if they do end up coming in through the loser’s bracket, their pitching would be in less than ideal shape.

Downside is NC State is really really good.

Ole Miss guy at Barstool. Apparently he convinced them to send him on the road to watch college baseball to be their college baseball “expert” to grow the sport (and make money gambling).

His pick: Arkansas, the overall favorite. Portnoy was skeptical that his “expert” just picked the overall favorite, but he put money on Arkansas anyway. So Portnoy has been dragging him ever since.

So Mintzy’s new pick: Vandy, the new overall favorite. So Portnoy is still dragging him and put money on NC State this time.

He’s been missing almost all his bets. Portnoy has accused him of stealing company money, “I don’t know what you were doing down south, but you weren’t watching baseball…”

I know it’s all for show but Portnoy’s Twitter has been hilarious the whole tournament. Mintzy was with Brandon Walker at our game. Mintzy even tried to screw us by picking us. One of the few games he won, but his bet that day was a parlay with us and Tennessee. I’d say he’s trying to lose on purpose, but being wrong all the time is just as hard as being right all the time.

I’ll give them one thing…they couldn’t have hired a more prototypical OM guy..than that guy. He’s exactly what I think of.
