<div class="messagebody"> "even if the Vanderbilt bus broke down and their football team didn't make it to the game, the score would still be 0-0, because Mississippi State's offense still couldn't score."
Our offense has become a joke butt around the country. </div>

a few weeks ago someone had a sign that read, "Lou Holtz spits when he talks!" Kind of funny... I can't stand Lou Holtz.

I knew what was coming and I still laughed pretty hard. Very well done.

I can understand our homers. But, it is really strange that the experts think we win. What you have is two bad offensive teams but with decent defenses (I hope that the GT game was an anomaly). The difference in the two teams is turnover margin, penalities, punts, and punt returns. Vandy beats State in every one of those statistical categorys.

I hope those guys are right and I am dead wrong. However, I see Vandy winning a battle of field position and captalizing on a turnover for the difference. Vandy 14 State 9.

1. Vandy is set up for a huge letdown after their biggest win in 50 years.
2. Vandy is a very bad team, despite their record.
3. Vandy is playing a conference game on the road against a team coming off a bye week.

If we play like we did against LSU, we win fairly easily. Of course, I've seen enough of Crxxm's teams to know that they're completely capable of crapping all over the field in games they should win. But we really should win this game.

Could that mean we are a good team despite our record? I understand they don't have many impressive stats, other than their 5-0. "Very bad team" may be a little overboard, I wish we were that bad. By the way- Phil Steele predicted an 0-8 SEC record this year for Vandy. Oops.

Our record is a little worse than it should be, but not much. Vandy's record is 2-3 games better than it should be. Very bad team may be a little bit of a stretch, but Vandy is definitely a bad team.

I am not calling you a loser, but both of these teams are not very good. We could easily be 3-2, and Vandy could easily be 2-3. The difference is coaching, but Vandy has never been very good under the current staff at winning on the road and we should play much better offensively after a bye week.

Holtz is a buffoon. The whole "Dr. Lou" segment is awful. Sadly, I don't know who I dislike more: Holtz or May. I guess May...he's such a pompous ***.

......with #2 because a "very bad" team doesn't go 5-0, regardless of what breaks have helped them along the way.

I'm pretty confident MSU will win, but it's got nothing to do with us being the better team or having the better coach. Neither are true. The game just sets up as an "upset."
