Westerstach is the kind of receiver New England likes to get, snail darter that gives defenses fits.
I'd rather have that streak end many years ago the streak that killed me was in 2004.
First losing season in 42 years damn near killed me.
Playing in Riley's offense is a huge plus for a WR wanting to play at the next level. Not sure Westerkamp will be healed up well enough to get drafted. I'll be surprised if Carter isn't drafted and probably Maurice as well.
In the event the streak doesn't end this year, is there anybody who projects to be drafted next year? Maybe DPE, and Chris Jones?
I think Maurice played at a high level this year and I'd be surprised if he doesn't get drafted.
Unless somebody leaves early, it's Jones, DPE, Knevel (as a flyer based on measurable?), Newby, Natter (he has to have a hug year) and Brown.
Out of that group the only realistic choices are Jones, DPE (unlikely?), and Brown, right?
The last couple of years talent gap shows how far behind the huskers had fallen in talent. The future is beginning to look much brighter
Don't forget Tanner Lee... I know, it's an outside chance, but if he has a monster year, he may not come back for that final season...
