Drake got a couple of early threes and got out to a lead but Murphy has come into the game and provided a spark. Made a couple of rebounds and made a three. Drake starting to just Jack up shots.

Whoever the commentator is he sounds just like coach Purcell and he’s really good. Needs to be on ESPN and not BallerTV

2 fouls for both Tolu and Cam Matthews. Drake's leading scorer DeVries (10 points) also with 2 fouls.

Drake shot 28.6% in the first half compared to 45.6% on the year. That's got to be frustrating. We didn't shoot great (40.6%) but pretty much on par for the year (43%).

I'm listening to him on SXM 191. How is he struggling?
He's not keeping up with the action. Gets tongue tied at times. Misses things. He spoke for 10 seconds after final horn sounded before Richard came in and told us that it was halftime. He's a legend, he's just not as good as he once was.

I understand. Well, I still like listening to him and think highly of him. "Father Time" gets us all eventually

There aren’t a ton of teams that have a guy down low that can match Tolu’s strength and size, but 51 from Drake is a monster

Drake is getting out and running to score. If they get in the halfcourt State has been able to handle it.

I would like to see Tolu go up a little stronger to the basket at times. I feel like he could overpower his man but he doesn't try to do that enough. He also forgets to block out sometimes.

Also, Jeffreys is on the edge of becoming a really really good player if he could finetune his touch on the ball just a bit. And shoot a little better of course. He's got he body of an NBA player but needs a little work.
