Let me tell you about a close friend of mine. This guy as a junior in high school was 6'4 290, he ran with the wide recievers and running backs because he was too fast to run with linemen. He ran a 4.7 40. The year Alabama won the natty in 1992 the head coach came to our school to talk to him. At his house he had stacks of scholly offers from every major d1 school out there. Just incredible talent. Best player I have ever seen in my life and an even better person. His family was poor, he lived in a small house and never had much. This guy didn't have a mean streak in him, I've never seen him cuss, get mad, smoke, drink, nothing, just a damn good guy. He quit football before his senior year, gave it all up. We've had another nfl player come out of our school I'm sure y'all heard of Kendal Simmons, went to auburn and went first round to Pittsburg, no disrespect to Kendal but dramico was 10x a better player, a hall of famer type of player IMO. Just wanted you guys to know about the best football player to ever play in the state of ms that nobody knows. I told him it's crazy to give all that up but I guess you have to do what you love to do

i just think its cool

that someone with so much potential was a very good person. we hear so much about these 5 star recruits with attitudes and this whole i dont have to work attitude. this dude is the type of person most families would love to have as a son.

The head coach would be Gene Stallings.

I'm not picking on you, but I always find it odd when people don't know things such as this.

Well make sure his kid knows that his daddy's name is Drumico not Dramico.

Just kidding. I've known Pooh for a long time. He's a great guy. He actually came and stayed with us in Starkville at one time. Funny going into bars that night and everyone thinking he was a big time recruit. We got treated pretty good that night

Played against Drumico

Twice my senior year. Their whole squad was legit. Drumico was the best player on the field, and there were quite a few D1/MSU players out there.

I was a Freshman that year so I didn't get to play in that game. I wasn't good enough to be on the field with all of that talent anyway. Great game for North Half that year. Ripley folk still feel that we got cheated on that last touchdown.
I always thought Cameron Floyd would have had a better career at State. Great athlete.

Cam pretty much stayed hurt as a Dawg. Tremendous athletic ability though.
I've watched the play in question 500 times...left foot touches first, out if bounds. Right foot in bounds. The film is obviously not the best quality (VHS)

i honestly think our whole offensive line had some sort of scholarships either to juco or d1. i wanna say the line averaged 290lbs or something like that. and pontotoc was just as big. i still think if we'd went to state we would of beat forrest

Yep. We lived at the commons. What was your brothers name? Or give your name if you don't mind putting it on the board
