I don't care if he is 4 ft 3 inches. Until proven otherwise, he is our #1 receiver next year. But he's too short! [/sarcasm]
I think he would have a shot if he was bigger. I'm not entirely sure he won't have a shot anyway, but I think there would be concerns about how well he could deal with the sort of hits that would come his way as a slot receiver.I mean no disrespect to him and am not a hater. I don't see him as a prospect for the NFL. He might as well finish out his career here the best he can, while pursuing an advanced degree. I for one am glad to have him.
I was going to do a separate post on Dymere Miller, when I saw he led his conference in receiving yards, and Monmouth did not have a winning record. We think a lot alike! From NJ.Com - RU just offered Monmouth University WR Dymere Miller from the tranfer portal. Pitt, Texas Tech, and FAU have also already offered. 90 catches, 1295 yards, 9 TDs. He's from Pa.
This sounds like a guy we could really use to complement Dremel and Strong. Will also be interesting to see how Famah Toure comes around this Spring.
Yes, if he's actually really good.WRs Rutgers signed in
2023: Ian Strong, Famah Toure, Jesse Ofurie, Vilay Nakkoun, Dylan Braithwaite, Deondre Johnson, and Davon Fuse.
2024: Kevin Levy, Benjamin Black, Isaiah Crumpler, and Noah Shaw.
Is there room for the Monmouth guy in the wide receivers room ?

I agree on paper. But I can’t stop seeing the Ramapo HS kid who played Lax in college score a TD for the Patriots in the Super Bowl. I would say P5 success >> LAX career for this position on average.I mean no disrespect to him and am not a hater. I don't see him as a prospect for the NFL. Probably doesn't need a waiver as he's sat out the full seasonThis is huge !!!!
Anyone know if WR Brantley will get the waiver for next season… or after missing one year it shouldn’t matter and he can play if he chooses to ??
plenty of awesome, AWESOME, college players don't translate to the NFLI mean no disrespect to him and am not a hater. I don't see him as a prospect for the NFL. He might as well finish out his career here the best he can, while pursuing an advanced degree. I for one am glad to have him.

FIFY - same people that did that- became fans this year....this thread is a nice surprise to be honest and especially so given how many people ridiculed and berated him all previous seasons
He already responded to this effect, but I was 99.9% sure @RUTGERS95 wouldn't either.I wouldn't kick my dog for ANYTHING.
