While obviously TA is the one player whose status is most closely being monitored, just have a feeling the Iowa game may turn into a FG kicking contest. Any word on when's Brown will clear protocol or status?

Not a clue, but I have an opinion.
Nowadays, concussions are taken more seriously, but 15 years ago, I would think that as long as it was not a major bell ringing, that they would have Brown kick field goals and let the other kicker do kick offs.
Maybe the other kicker isn't too bad, but if the field goal unit allows the field goals to get blocked, it doesn't matter which kicker we use...
I agree. It could be a game decided by field goals, so Brown playing or not is a big deal.
