So, if by some miracle we win out ... and LSU beat Alabama and happens to lose to Ole Miss and Arkansas .... And Alabama loses to Auburn, there's a three way tie at the top (possibly 4 if Auburn wins out). Can someone smarter than me tell me who'd be in the championship game? The kool-aid this morning sure is strong.

It would be LSU.

In the division itself, not the entire SEC, bama would have 3 losses, and State and LSU would have 2. LSU lost to Florida and so did we. That throws bama out since they lost to 3 western division opponents. Then it's a 1v1 between us and LSU and we lost to them.

LSU goes to Atlanta.

In your first, Bama, MSU and LSU would all be 5-3.

First tiebreaker would be head to head. LSU would be 2-0. You'd be 1-1. Alabama would be 0-2. LSU goes to the title game.

In your second scenario, you have a 4 way tie with Auburn, LSU, MSU, and Bama at 5-3.

Again, head to head, LSU would be 3-0. Auburn would be 2-1. MSU would be 1-2. Alabama would be 0-3. LSU again goes to the title game.

So essentially, you are mathematically eliminated from all scenarios. I do like the Kool-Aid thinking.

we could forever demonstrate how important six inches is in every game. Plus, Alabama would not go to Atlanta.
