Still doing the "Dry January" approach....with the exception being last Thursday....I belong to a wine club here in Honolulu. We have a dinner every three months ... usually an upscale dinner with wine parings....this one was too good to pass up...Michel'sat the Colony Surf.....and the wine parings were exceptional...

So, except for the 24th....I've been "on the wagon," and, honestly, I haven't missed drinking....and I really like starting the mornings sharp and ready to go.....

I went over to a buddy's place so he could take 6 stitches out of my shoulder (he's a male nurse lol). Had some new bourbon, poured a bit on the wound, for God knows whatever dumb reason, and watched the first half of the game on my phone.

The Bourbon was good, had the outline of the state of Kentucky filled in with like.. a royal blue color.
