Can we go ahead and get an early statement from all the players staying. Kind of a pre-transfer signing day for us fans?**. ETA Drinkwitz irritates me for some reason and I can't put my finger on it.

Good. I like seeing coaches not leave every damn time for bigger programs. Excluding one coach, of course

Penn State probably about to hire Brian Kelly which wouldn't be a bad hire considering.
Would be better than Drinkwitz. Talk about feasting off of east schedules, he is 0-16 vs SEC teams that finished with a winning conference record. Fool's gold.

Would think that's another sign pointing Kiffin to LSU. Their board was thinking he was #2 behind Kiffin (but not too thrilled about it).

I just don’t see why he an attractive hire. I didn’t think he was good for LSU at the time either. It just doesn't seem like many of these bigger name coaches that get run off for performance do well at another P4 school, at least if it is at their first stop before rehabbing.

Franklin may the next to support the data. He might win enough at VT to keep them happy, but I doubt he will have them in playoff contention.

Penn State has an extra $41 MM to spend since Franklin got a new job. Would be funny if they just sent that money to LSU so Kelly could work for them.

Maybe Penn State doesn't mind if their head coach takes a little vacation on hos off week.

Was fixing to say....what's the deal with him that irritates our Pack fanbase? He seems like an average Joe to me. But I will say my favorite coach in the SEC is Clark Lea.....Just listening to him makes me want to suit up, hit the field, and get ejected for targeting!

That's his best move. To stay put. Mizzou was smart to keep him as a new coaching search this year would not be fruitful. He's a good fit for them as they have the whole state of 5-6 million to themselves for high school talent.....then just supplement with portal stuff to fill needs. He should have a minimum of 6-7 wins every year, then once in a while pop open a 9,10, or 11 win season and a playoff spot.
