a post minimum before being allowed to create a new topic? Besides the obvious, it would also be a way of deterring the "Bush committed suicide - click here" threads.

I'm pretty sure vbulletin does have that capability... as well as giving the ability to admins to have to approve a post by certain members before the rest of us can see it.

I'm not sure if it has the ability to take away rights from individual users to start new topics however

How would we get our Chinese newspaper then? I like the random stupid topics. It adds a little comedy to the board. They don't happen that often. It gets boring having the same 20 posters start threads.

This sounds like class warfare to me. Folks with more post getting certain rights that low number posters don't have. Beginning to sound a little Marxist to me.

Beside, stupid can be funny for a short period of time, then it gets redundant. That's when DS utilizes his own judgement and brings out the ban hammer. You've got to learn to trust the folks in charge sometimes.

Would it be possible to lose the super annoying Macys ad that scrolls with the screen? You are gonna force me to download another browser (iPad) that has ad blocking.

I don't get a Macy's ad

Most of mine are targeted ads, so I get things I've googled recently. For example, Dish TV (because I changed equipment to a Hopper) and cars.com (I had to replace a car after a wreck so I was looking for a replacement).

In the past, I've been plagued by ads doing the same as the Macy's one, but not at the moment.
